Lloyd Stone specialises in land information systems management, process modelling and workflow design.
He has 42 years experience in cadastral, land administration and remote sensing systems and is Land Information Advisor to the Mauritian and Vietnamese governments on policy, standards and business reform.
Lloyd has an in-depth knowledge of Land Administration processes and a broader knowledge across cadastral databases, registration and valuation systems, street addressing, records management, governance and legislation related to land registration.
Lloyd’s success stems from his ability to understand client needs, their issues and desires for creating a future state for their organisations. Lloyd works with business teams to scope requirements, prepare design documents and develop policy and standards.
Lloyd’s core strength is in his capacity to strategically realign business processes to maximise resource capacity within business units and across organisations. He has been involved in many business reform projects including the Strategic Business Realignment of Landgate in 2007. More recently Lloyd assisted the Mauritian government to examine organisational processes and structures with a view to streamlining and creating transparent land administration processes. This work required significant liaison with government officials and an acute ability to understand clients needs. These needs were met by Lloyd through strategic planning activities; an analysis of workflows and process reengineering, change management, value chain analysis, activity based costing and capacity building.
