A Baseline Assessment and Action Plan developed with the National Agency for Public Registry (NAPR) using the IGIF approach.
Due to system and data interoperability issues, Georgia required an Action Plan to articulate the steps needed to create an NSDI, with a particular emphasis on establishing longer-term financial sustainability, multi-stakeholder approaches, capacity and capability development, innovation and communication, as well as providing technical solutions for ongoing data maintenance, standards and interoperability. For this work, Geospatial Frameworks subcontracted to ConsultingWhere, UK.
Dr. Arnold was also Project Advisor for the Norwegian Mapping Authority funded project to develop a Mobile Application for Georgia. The Mobile App consumes Georgian digital topographic base maps and the land registration database created and managed by NAPR. It allows searching of geographic features and land title-related information.
