Geospatial Frameworks provided technical consultancy to Consulting Where to undertake a sustainability study into the operation and management of CORS (permanent Global Navigation Satellite System stations providing positioning services and foundation geodetic data) in Ukraine, under the direction of Norway’s Statens Kartverket. For Geospatial Frameworks, this work involved a thorough analysis of the current situation in terms of private and government operated CORS as well as a horizon scan to consider incoming technologies in positioning services, understanding and documenting various international CORS operating models and providing detailed information on CORS fundamentals. The team also provided input into the market potential, business model options and the recommendations.
